I was quite taken aback when I originally saw this cover. The Union Jack Jackson I knew had 'originally' appeared in Warlord in the mid 1970s. Nothing like recycling an old character for a new generation-eh?

ReplyDeleteGifford (Encyclopedia of Comic Characters) only gives UJJ as Hotspur 1962, Warlord 1974-84 & Victor 1986.

When I think of Ron Smith at The Hotspur, the first thing that jumps to my mind is always King Cobra.
