The Forgotten Fourteenth

I know, I know, it's not particularly PC (pie and chips). But it has a ring of authenticity to it. During times of war people are taught to hate the Enemy in one form or another, right?
Anyway. Lovely art by Harry Farrugia from The Victor, dated  June 12th 1971.

  1. That's lovely artwork. Do you think this strip is some distant ancestor of "Darkie's Mob"?

  2. Hey Big D.

Hm, it might be. I think John Wagner worked at DC Thomson before he went to IPC.

  3. By that I mean he might have been aware of the strip. Or even wrote it? Although, was he writing for girls comics at DCT at the time? I'm not sure.
