Some gothic naughtiness from Solano Lopez circa 17th April 1965. I've seen this particular Valiant strip reprinted in Vulcan in the 70s. I'd love to see it again. Any chance of another Albion book from Titan?

Thanks for sharing Terry!
ReplyDeleteWow, there are some wonderful pieces there!
It'd be so cool to see some close-ups to get a look at SP's application of pencil, ink and white-out...
Just added some more pages that I bought. I'm up to 19 original artworks from this story!
DeleteJust got in some more original artwork pages from this fondly-remembered Kelly's Eye vampire story - including the Episode 3 art (printed pages shown in this blog)!

ReplyDeleteThis story's been reprinted a few times hasn't it? I think I've seen it in an annual and it appeared in Vulcan.
Such cool art and a neat story too.
I've had some more luck assembling the original artwork pages from this story . . . now at 32 pages . . . two-thirds of the story!

DeleteHi Crow, I am trying to find a Kelly's Eye story from around '65 where he fought some one-eyed head monsters. Do you know anything about this story? Cheers, John.
ReplyDeleteI vaguely remember one. Were they aliens with pincers or crab claws?
ReplyDeleteThey might have been.or theymay have had tentacles
ReplyDeleteReminds me of an episode of The Steel Claw I have on here from around the same year.
