Kampfgruppe Falken

Neville Wilson illustrates this episode from the 2nd of December, 1978 issue of Warlord. I like the quiet cynicism and world-weariness of this strip. The characters are just trying to survive as best as they can under very extreme circumstances.

PC49

Some beautiful linework from John Worsley from Eagle, dated 11th November, 1955.

During World War 2 Worsley served in the Royal Navy and was captured in 1943 and spent the remainder of the conflict in a prisoner of war camp. While incarcerated he continued to paint and draw. These images come from the book, John Worsley's War, published in 1993.

Baretta

Art by Ron Tiner from the Baretta Annual, 1977.

Eagles Over The Western Front

The Daleks

Captain Condor

Some original Geoff Campion art from Lion. Not sure of the year but I assume it's early-to-mid 1960s. I like the handles on the side of his space boots. So sensible!

Colonel Pinto

Kung Fu

Art by Martin Asbury. From Look-In, 8th June, 1974.

Muscles By The Minute

This one-pager appeared in Alley Sloper magazine, issue 2 October, 1976.

The Daredevils

Cover by Paul Neary from 1983, with various bits and pieces. I was reading an issue of Magnus Robot Fighter from May 1967, where I came across a rather grumpy missive from a teenage PN. Personally, I disagree, the interior art by Russ Manning is gorgeous. Anyway, moving-along...

Blackhawk

 Cover by Massimo Berlardinelli.
