I know, I know, it's not particularly PC (pie and chips). But it has a ring of authenticity to it. During times of war people are taught to hate the Enemy in one form or another, right?

ReplyDeleteHm, it might be. I think John Wagner worked at DC Thomson before he went to IPC.
By that I mean he might have been aware of the strip. Or even wrote it? Although, was he writing for girls comics at DCT at the time? I'm not sure.
